The Program Committee is pleased to announce the following presentation for the York-Sunbury Historical Society.  Join us in the basement of Government House (51 Woodstock Road) starting at 7:30pm.  All presentations are free and open to the public, with a reception following each one.

Speaker:  John Little from Briggs & Little Woolen Mills
Date:  March 19th, 2015
Topic:   The History of Woolen Mills in New Brunswick

John will speak a bit on the history of woolen mills in New Brunswick and Briggs and Little’s evolution through the years to present day.  He will speak of the changes he has witnessed after 45 years at the mill. At the present time, Briggs and Little is the oldest continuously (except of course for time to rebuild after fires) working woolen mill in Canada.
