[There are two communities listed with “Eel” in its name in the Provincial Archives “Where is Home? New Brunswick Communities Past and Present” database for York County.  There is Eel River west of Meductic in Canterbury Parish and Eel River Lake west of Skiff Lake in Canterbury Parish.]
