Earlier this year we received bad news that we would not be able to use the Museum balcony for special events. The iron rails on the balcony are original to the building and do not meet modern safety codes. After some research we decided that we would not be able to upgrade the rails because the expense was too much and we did not have it in our budget.
Fortunately, Economy Glass learned of our difficulties and offered to help us. Now, after several months, the glass is installed and the balcony looks great! We can now use the space for special events …. or just to enjoy the view!
We so appreciate Economy Glass for helping us make the balcony safe for visitors. They truly did a wonderful thing. Their generosity will directly benefit the Fredericton Region Museum visitors and our community.
