Dr. Lee Windsor is Deputy Director at The Gregg Centre for the Study of War and Society at the University of New Brunswick.  He holds a BA from Acadia University, an MA from Wilfrid Laurier and a PhD from the University of New Brunswick. He teaches and studies in the field of Canadian army history in the 20th Century up to and including current missions abroad.  He regularly guides groups of students, soldiers and the general public on study tours to battlefields in Italy, France, Belgium and Holland.  His publications include Kandahar Tour: Turning Point in Canada’s Afghan Mission, Steel Cavalry: The 8th New Brunswick Hussars in the Italian Campaign as well as a number of chapters and articles.  He is currently working on a new project on the Sicily campaign.
